Monday Thoughts

Happy Monday my friend!

Todays newsletter is gonna be short and mighty! I want to share a thought with you to start this week. I have been telling myself this thought on the daily to help push myself when things get hard. The thought is, “I am someone who does hard things!”

One of my biggest goals I have been working on the last couple of months is getting up at 6AM (which if you know me you know this is so out of my comfort zone). Every morning my alarm goes off and my brain screams, “don’t do it! Just turn the alarm off and get back in bed. We will try again tomorrow.” Before I give in I tell myself out loud, “I AM SOMEONE WHO DOES HARD THINGS!” I get out of bed and start my workout. I tell myself this thought. I take an ice cold shower, tell myself the new thought. During the day when my kids are losing their crap, I take deep breaths and tell myself the new thought. Every time my brain tries to tell me something is too hard and I shouldn’t do it, “I am someone who does hard things!”

I want to invite you to try this thought out this week. Tell yourself this thought enough until you believe it. Talk to your brain more than you listen to your brain. You really can be someone who does hard things! I believe in you my friend. YOU GOT THIS!
